MEDS is a Physician owned and operated corporation managing emergency departments in southern Illinois (Litchfield, Pana, Greenville, Jerseyville, Highland, Breese, Centralia and Belleville) and Missouri (Columbia). Incorporated in 1983, MEDS has steadily expanded to its present size and has become a dominant force in the central Midwest. While MEDS can tout its low physician turnover rate and its incredibly high patient satisfaction ratio, the one overriding fact that remains is MEDS has never lost a contract in its 20+ year existence.
