I think what appeals to me about Geocaching is the unique combination of high-tech and the outdoors. I was raise in a fairly "outdoorsy" family but my job keeps me inside way too much. Geocaching is a great way for me to keep connected to the great outdoors.

A good friend of mine got me interested in this hobby, and I like it for the fact that it is something I can do with my daughter, that it's an adventure for us, it gets us out into areas we normally aren't in, and it's a fun experience that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. We both enjoy the hunt, and just being together. It also affords me quality time with my daughter.

I enjoy geocaching by myself & with my family. Although since I got my own GPS unit I haven't gotten to go by myself much. The kids really love the thrill of the hunt as well. It's something we can all enjoy together.
